Day 2

Let's start this blog with our morning; Nathan and I checked out of our hostel at 11am and went straight to the tube. We got off at the train station, St Pancras/Kings Cross to drop our luggage off so that we could explore London a little longer without luggage before our train to Paris.

After we dropped our luggage we went searching for the famous platform 9 and 3/4, because I'm a big Harry Potter fan! :) we found the "platform" or really just the place they have people take pictures! :) We snapped a couple photos and headed to the famous 221b Baker Street!! If you don't know why we went there then you must not know much about Sherlock Holmes :) Nathan says that if you don't then you should "do some   detective work and figure it out" ;) Haha

After we saw the famous street and famous apartment we asked the guard standing at the apartment if this was the same place they film the BBC Sherlock Holmes series, he said no and pointed us to where they actually film the show!!! It was only 20 mins away! So naturally we went!

When we got there a very sweet lady took pictures for us and we got a drink at the cafe right next the the apartment! :) Silly but so much fun! Now we can say we have really been there! :)

After our Sherlock Holmes trip we got back on the tube to find the London bridge! :) We found it ... It really wasn't that interesting so we walked around town for a bit and made our way to the Globe Theater, where Shakespeare preformed!! It was pretty cool!

Then we made our way to the Millennium bridge ... A bridge I once again was excited for because its I'm Harry Potter!! (It's probably in other movies too but I mainly know it from Harry Potter!)

The bridge lead us right the the front of St. Paul's Cathedral. We walked around it for a bit and decided pop inside for a bit! It was beautiful! :)

After that we hopped on the tube and went to see the Kensington Gardens! We walked around for a little, saw Embassy Way, Princess Diana's memorial playground and finally the Kensington Palace!  Unfortunately they closed it to the public because of a private party the Prince and Princess were throwing tonight!! The guard couldn't tell us more then that sadly but I thought it was still really cool to see all of the staff setting us for a royal party!

After the palace we decided it was time to get back to the King's Cross/St. Pancras station so we could catch our 8pm train to Paris! :)

We made it to the train on time and now we are in Paris hanging out at our Hostel! My first reaction to France is that people are right, the city is a little dirty but its really cool to see all the stores and awesome buildings! :) Our room is really nice and we are excited to have new adventures here in Paris France!!! :)
Till next time, like they say in France "Bonne nuit!" or Good Night!

Hanging out on the tube! :)

Cool sign at King's Cross

The only good one we got of me was on my camera! :)

I love Princess Diana, so Nathan took a picture with me and the gardens

This was outside of the gardens. It says "Time Flies"

This is a really old tree being preserved. if you look closely you can see the figures carved on it.
