This was something we passed every day while in Venice and we kept forgetting to take a picture so we decided it would be the last picture we took of Venice! :)
This is where we sat while we waited for our train. The station had a lot of people that day and this was the best place to see the departure board! :)
We made it on our train! :)
Nathan thought the lights were really cool because they were touch activated! Haha the simple things right? :)
Or view from inside the train. You can see all the cruise ships at port in the background.
We made it to Florence! This was the fast train! It was really nice!
Hello Florence!
Navigating to our room at Mary's house B&B.
Our room. Nice and simple.
This was the first place that had separate beds.
We went straight to see The David. This was the line. It was long but not as long as normal! Probably because we got there later in the day? We only waited about 30-40 mins. Normally people wait hours to get in.
This guy was painting while we stood in line! He was really good.
We made it into the building! :)
The David!!!! And some of Michaelangelo's unfinished work! So cool!! It really was amazing to see this! It was like traveling back in time.
We got really good gelato! This one had actual fruit chunks in it!! Yum!
We went to eat dinner! :)
Nathan got lasagna! It was really big and very good!
And I got a penne pasta with zucchini and bacon with a pesto type sauce. It was delicious!!!
These guys were everywhere it seemed. Well not these guys specifically, but musicians, it was fun.
This was random but pretty! :)
As we walked around we found a gelato place that had stacked there gelato really high!!! We didn't get any here but we thought it was crazy how high they were.
Here is a closer picture. Nathan's favorite flavor is the melone (cantaloupe).
Afterwards we walked around a bit and saw the bridge on the river and then we went home to bed. Church is in the morning!
