The train this day was SO full because the Pope was speaking today. We were literally back to back shoulder to shoulder, this picture doesn't show it as well.
This is a bad picture but all of these people were on the same train as us just seconds before. This was the stop for the Vatican.
After everyone left we took advantage and sat down.
We couldn't believe how empty it was.
After the metro ride we found the church.
It was a beautiful meeting! The people in Rome are so sweet! One of the members took this photo for us.
This was the building.
As we traveled back we saw these kids, and others like them, a lot on the trains. It made my heart so sad to see this; one would play a sad song on the accordion while the other would beg for money.
We went home and changed so we could make the trek out to the Rome temple.
This was our view of the temple! Even though this was all we could see the feeling of being by the temple was amazing! It truly was a blessing that we could make it out.
We stuck our phone in as far as we could and this is the photo we got! :)
Construction is coming along nicely!
Our view from the bus as we headed back.
This station was really nice.
We decided to visit the Trevi fountain one last time.
This is one of the first 3 fountains to bring Rome fresh water.
Our last metro ride in Rome.
